One of our favorite things is helping good books find new homes. Trading books is one of the quiet ways a bookstore becomes a community, and we’re always glad to see stories continue their journey.

If you have gently used books you’ve finished and loved, you’re welcome to bring them in for store credit. We look for titles that will feel at home on our shelves and in the hands of another reader.

We offer:

$3 store credit for hardcovers

$2 store credit for paperbacks

$0.50 store credit for children’s books

Store credit is issued through our system and can be used anytime in the shop.

Because our space is small and thoughtfully curated, we’re selective about what we accept. We look for books in excellent condition that are a good fit for our readers, and we may decline some titles.

To keep things manageable, we accept up to 20 books per visit.

If you’d like, we’re happy to donate any unaccepted books to Goodwill or Volunteers of America on your behalf so you don’t have to make an extra trip.

Just bring your books in during shop hours, and we’ll take a look.
