Blue skies aren’t the only things people will find when they come to Grovepoint, the idyllic small town nestled in the scenic openness of the Midwest.

After an early retirement, Sadie Kenner returns to her hometown and finds a dead body.
She expects the drastic shift between being a high school teacher and taking over as the manager of her aunt’s bed-and-breakfast will come with challenges. But stumbling upon the body of a local baker near the dumpster is something else entirely.

Thrust into a new career in the wake of her aunt’s death, Sadie attempts to learn all she can about the business to reopen Blue Skies B&B after a temporary closure.

Figuring out how to handle the bad press about a body on-site is no small headache. The conundrum of choosing a new bakery to provide exclusive breakfast goods is an even bigger dilemma. Caught between rival bakers and townsfolk who seem too possessive and nosy for their own good, Sadie hopes for a smooth reopening.

Perhaps with the reluctant assistance from her moody niece, Mackenzie, she can help the local rookie cop investigate this murder before another one happens.

About Our Candles

Our candles are hand poured and labeled in small batches to ensure quality and consistency. Our candles are made with organic soy wax, organic cotton wicks, and phthalate free fragrances.

Wax can easily be cleaned out of the jar with hot soapy water and the jar can be reused or recycled.

Due to the nature of soy wax, you may notice frosting or a spot where the wax has pulled slightly away from the jar. This is completely normal for soy and does not affect the quality or performance of your candle.

On the first burn, keep lit until a full melt pool forms on the top layer. Your candle has memory and getting a full melt pool will ensure the longevity of your candle and prevent tunneling.

Always trim your wicks to 1/4" before each burn.
